The IRC problem. Maybe an official channel will help.

So here is my offer: I will make a semi-official channel, where all the admins/moderators from the forums will be ops. That might not be enough (only me and DT are active in the IRC) so everyone who wants to be an op, is able to apply for it.
Sounds nice, apart from the part where you're an op. I don't think I'd be interested in joining such a channel... not just because you're the owner, but also because the existing #Doukutsu channel suits me just fine.

I guess it would be cool to have strict coding only channel. But who'd go there?
Plenty of people.

I wish more people actually WENT to #doukutsu because I'm often the only one chatting. :(
I'm almost always around; you can poke me if you want to talk about something. (For reference, "poking" someone in IRC usually means "saying their name".)

wow, never thought i'd find myself agreeing with someone like Fire.
a) pointless thread is pointless.
b) if your poll has two options, you can't tally the two together as one, no matter the similarities between them. it doesnt work like that.

I should have made a poll with two options:

"Leave it how it is."
"A change must be made."

Option two would have more votes than option one.

This. then yeah, option two would by far have more than option one.
hindsight is 20/20, learn from your mistakes, <random "oh well, try again next time" phrases>
further example, you have:
6 people that do something and care if they can
5 people that do something but dont care
3 people that dont do it, but also dont care
7 people that dont do it, but care if others can.

although the group that does it has more people in it (see: people who want change in IRC), the largest group is the one that doesnt and cares (the people who want it left alone) and therefore, provided no groups are switched/merged, they win.

You are now manipulating the process so that you get your way. In a multi-party election, like Canadians have, the decision is not "vote Conservative" or "vote something else" (read: throw vote away). Can we please stop this discussion, as Gardebiter seems to be the only person now who insists there is a problem? I have seen no complaining on IRC itself, which is the best place to bitch about IRC.
P.S. I am sorry for my childish view of the world, please forgive me.

lol @ n00bs in #curlybrace.
lol @ paranoid forum n00bs.
Come on: Fear me and hate me.

But srsly, think of something new.
It's really grown to a stereotype of a power hungry, bad at english, weird SPG. A person that bans people for fun and has no reasons. A person that manipulates people and makes up problems.
Yeah right...
I'm not your doormat guys.

SP I'm saying this as a friend, even though we don't know eachother that well. I understand it's hard making decisions right now. Back when I was new, when you were new, everything was different. Each user had a talent, wether it was art or programming. There were people who were good at nothing, but they weren't the core of the forums. Can't say the core hasn't changed... There are a lot less talented people here on miraigamer than it used to be, or should I say, more "generic" people. Plus there are a lot of people who've only been a year here and already feel like Kings. Who am I to judge though?

But my post isn't about the old times, besides it's not like members like fab (sorry fab) could understand what the forums used to be like. My post is about you SP. And I don't want to sound like I'm telling you what to do, I'm just giving advice. It's OK if you ban people. Hell, you can even ban me if you feel like it. But at least throw a believable pretext that justifies the ban. There will always be idiots who say OMG U SHOULDNTA BANED HIM, and if they don't shut up you can ban them too. It's a subtle way of clearing parasites.

"I don't care about my public image" you might say, but then ask yourself. Do you care about the forums? If you have a bad public image, the forums will have too much drama. Well, more drama than there is now at least. It will be fun for morons who fail at life, but still...

No. There are enough reasons why I'm not giving out any ban reasons.
Respect that or not.

There will be always drama on miraigamer. I'm kinda sick of these forums, they are not good for my mental health.
I'm sick of the arrogant and egoistic attitude of some users.

Seriously.
You just said that.
I... wow.
You're quickly becoming more of a joke than an admin.
A joke with absolute, unchallengeable power.
It's a small consolation that you'll never get your hands on the IRC channels.

wtf is wrong with you?
I said I have a reason why I don't inform anyone.
But fine, I can unban MS again. If the forum gets deleted or broke, then don't blame me. Go dig some hole, jump into it and cry.
There are things people shouldn't know for the sake of the fucking forum security.

It would have been better if you would have told us that before. "It's because of forum security", while rather vague, is at least much better than "I have my reasons which I'm not telling".
