So I just looked through this whole thread (oof... that took a few hours thanks to a slow Internet connection) and I was a little surprised that I didn't see any references to this guy's work. The first five or so images in this link are CS related and the artist was at one time planning on using them in an animation (After looking through the gallery, you can see where some of those pictures would go in the animation). It's been almost a year since anything new has happened with the material, though, so I don't know if he abandoned the project or not. What a shame. The first image is probably my favorite piece of CS fanart. Do zoom in.

They look noticeably darker than most pieces of CS fanart, but still good stuff.
