CaveEditor again (beta, maybe alpha)

What? I thought that was a readme. Is there something hidden in there, or did I miss something obvious?

Alright, sorry for the stupidity, but another problem.
I'm trying to add another TSC command that CE actually recognizes, but it's failing miserably. (It's the <AIR thing down there)
This is what my txt for CE looks like:
[CE_TSC] 92
<AE+	0	----	Arms Energy +	Refill Ammo
<AIR    1       #---    AIR fill	Set air level to X
<AM+	2	aA--	ArMs +	Give weapon X with Ammo Y (or just adds ammo Y to X)
<AM-	1	a---	ArMs -	Lose Weapon X
<AMJ	2	ae--	ArMs Jump	Jump to Y if player has weapon X
...
All that happens is that everything under AIR is wiped out and not recognized as a command.
Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Assuming you're using a single tab character to separate each field, I can't see why that shouldn't work. I've been able to add custom command descriptions to my own CE files without issue.
Maybe try adding the new one to the bottom of the list?

They all use single tabs, so that's fine.

Maybe try adding the new one to the bottom of the list?

I tried that, but it still doesn't show the name or description in the database on the right of the script editor - all it shows is the "<AIR -".
It doesn't even color the parameter value (the XXXX in <AIRXXXX) like it does for every other command. The single digit number (0-3) to the left of the command is the number of parameters it has, right?

ARRGHHH Stupid Cave Editor Won't work for me!


Right click on your Cave Story folder and uncheck Read-Only. Then it should work. Also, next time use the Quick Hacking/Modding Answers Thread.
