I don't know why but I love balrog's theme from cave story. But I want to know which is better. But in my opinion I think the 3D remix is better.

Both. 3DS Balrog makes for a good battle intro, but Balrog Original works better for all other balrog-related cutscenes such as his appearence in Jenka's house.

The Cave Story+ version is the 3DS remix. If you meant the Wiiware remix, then I see. Also, I think it would be more worthwhile to have a topic/poll about just the different soundtracks in general, and not just one song. But in any case, I prefer the original counterpart of almost every song, which includes Balrog's theme.

3DS and Original > Wiiware

It was really hard deciding between the 3DS remix and the original, but ultimately I found the original better. Surprisingly, the Wiiware version is one of the much better CSWii tunes, but still no match for the others.

^ My feelings on the matter.

I like both. Same goes for something like 80% of the Cave Story soundtrack. I prefer the remixes sliiiightly more, though. Probably because I've never been that into chiptune-sounding music, but I love the actual compositions themselves. The remixes are more "listenable" if you're just listening to Cave Story music on it's own.

No. The 3DS remixes and the CS+/CSWii remixes are different.

CS: Original Soundtrack.
CSWii: CS+ Soundtrack and Original Soundtrack.
CS+: CS+ Soundtrack and Original Soundtrack.
CS+ HIB: CS3D Soundtrack, CS+ Soundtrack and Original Soundtrack.
CS3D: CS3D Soundtrack.
