Several users have reported being shown outdated avatars, I have had to clear my cache a couple of times when changed avatars weren't displaying.
Is there any way to fix this?

I know what you're talking about (Fab's post in Cat's month thread), but this never happened to me. Maybe it depends on a browser, I dunno. I use Opera Mini on my mobile and it doesn't happen. Also, is there an option to receive notifications when someone changes his avatar?

Cultr, for some reason, all recently changed avatars except yours updated without me needing to refresh (i.e. dasu, fab, derp).

I did have some trouble with it earlier (had to use snag.gy, imgur was down and uploading wouldn't work) and my avatar was deleted a few times in the process. Might that have contributed to the problem? I'm not sure.
Funny story, Wedge, when I switched partitions to windows after switching avatars, mine was the only unchanged one too!

I also ran into this a while ago; seeing as it's a result of the way IP Board's software updates images I suspect it's another issue we can't really do anything about
