Original Cave Story Sprites?

I'm making a Terraria texture pack based on Cave Story, but is there any way to get the original sprites? I have the sprites from CS+, but some are too big.

They're in a weird format... All tsc-s and pbm-s.

Well if you had bothered to do a little bit of research, I believe 8 of every 10 posts in this forum mention that pbm is just bmp with the letters rearranged. Just change the file extension.
