Yesterday I bought cave story + for the pc (steam version) and I turned holiday sprites off. When I went back into the game, Quote wasn't holiday sprited, but everything else still was. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I've returned after a short rest from the forums!

I'd like you guys to pm me which character I should use as the curly of island of elements. (are in the spoilers)

Haven't tried it yet, I'd guess it's a bug though.

If you want them off the easiest thing to do is to just set your system's date to, say, the middle of january. You can always change it back once you're done.

Yes I have the problem aswell.
How to fix: Go to the options menu, it says they're off, turn them on, and back to off again. Fixed.
Note that you have to do this every time you boot the game.
