The top .8787346221441124% of members by postcount (all members with > 1254 posts) holds just under one third of the total posts on the cstsf!!!!

Why would they occupy the Satellite Lounge if posts don't count here? The 99.12126537785589% are clearly not a significant threat to our position of power if they can't figure out how to get more posts.

I know you are math nerds, but WHY, oh WHY you have more than 1 or 2 numbers after the decimal coloumn...<massive headache>
It's like docs saying one egg has "54"KCal...my response: it depends if that is a small one which has maybe 48 or a bigger one which has maybe 59...
Or our teachers have tought us the USA has 9372614 km2 - the result is that because we had to learn the ...72614 we forgot even that it has around 9 million and some even said 19 million by mistake... Also in every book it is written differently since the precision of measuring is very very rough...check out how rough it actually is, if you like to play with numbers :)

Well since all my figures were exact, I had infinite sig-figs, and thus the percentages didn't need to be rounded.
If I was working with miles/whatever, of course I would round a bit, because that is the only mathematically honest way to do things!

Using Pi to 3 decimals can calculate the circumference of the earth accurate to the nearest 1/16th of an inch (about 1.7 millimeters)
