because honestly I'm sort of tired of seeing so many video game soundtracks in the rate the music of the user above you thread
video game music is great, don't get me wrong. it's just I think they are on a different level than "normal" music
i.e. it's meant to set a mood while you play, not necessarily just to be listened to on its own
so yeah
anyways let's start this off I guess
oh yeah rate it out of 10 I GUESS
or whatever makes you feel comfortable
I don't judge
rate the music of the user above you: video games

I fucking loved pokemon mystery dungeon
sky tower was fucking difficult
but yeah great theme, it really suits the area in that it's go the whole "hey yeah this is the final level" intensity thing going for it, but it also has quite a few soothing melodies going on as well...!
those bells and the sort of laid back drum track really bring it together for me
that and it's actually composed with a few different sections, as opposed to a simple loop like most video game music
god I'm sort of gushing and can't get my point across
uhhh
it sounds nice
8/10
I usually don't give out high scores lightly
the only thing that really bugs me about is that it has the main theme refrain, which is something that doesn't exactly fit the piece as a whole, but I guess they just threw it in there ?.?
also btw guys
ANYWAYS

Firstly, I personally think that the Red version actually sounds better
I would literally put this one in my best vidya musics of all time list
splosive: 8/10 Nice chiptune-y stuff, a touch repetitive but s'all good
May as well help kick this thread off with some goddamn Mystic Ark

8/10 Valkie still is famous for the awesome music. Would rate higher if I was a fan of the series... I'm not, because of that insistent time-limit gameplay. Which I hate with a passion. >~>;;
