It actually looks pretty cool, but two things bug me.
Quote's head, looks weird.
The doors, refill station and save point. They kinda look out of place when compared to the environment around it.

I know, I'm still workin' on most of the stuff, but right now I'm focusing on the First Cave.
Also I'm not really sure how to fix Quote's head within the limitations of 8-bit.

Er... I crossed it out. Meaning that I only quickly glanced at it. Sorry, I should have completely edited it out >_<

I'll try this, when a download link is available. It seems quite well done.
I think Cave Story is quite capable of giving you mental issues. Just look at some of our fine members on the forum.

As much as it looks done, there is still alot more I have to do. I've acually only done the tiles in the First Cave that get reused alot. There are still many surfaces to do. Also, I have to do the text box and opening sequence. So I guess it'll have the first demo in 1-2 weeks.
