A pre-patched English translation? Or will AGTP not let us?
This is what I was going to say. It's not difficult to translate the game if you know how the translator works, but most "console gamers" (mainly those who picked up Cave Story on the Wii Ware or DSi Ware, like I did) who have little experience with computers may have trouble. My first time downloading Cave Story I downloaded the Deluxe Version just for the pre-patched game (at the time I didn't care much for the artwork, which I now come to admire). Thanks!
Edit: I'm not totally sure what "AGTP" is, but let's hope they don't prevent the creation of a pre-patched English version. I mean, the Deluxe Version comes pre-patched; why can't the game just be a standalone download?
I think Cave Story is quite capable of giving you mental issues. Just look at some of our fine members on the forum.

That's what I thought, but Aeon Genesis doesn't have a P in it.I believe it's Aeon Genesis, tho ones who made the translation.

A pre-patched release would affect traffic to their own site and they mightn't like the idea of making a fancy installer no-one would use, so I figured getting their approval would be a good idea. Anyway I sent Zhi an email about it. Still waiting for a response. He gets alot of emails you see.
Hmm.. maybe emailing Shih Tzu about it would be better...
In any case I haven't ignored this or anything. I will implement it (or not) as soon as I get a response.
You'd think 4 months would be enough time to reply to a simple email.

Haha, I second that motion. (I'm sorry if it annoys anyone that I make "seconded" or "third-ed" posts.
