Cave Story music got ripped off?

Hello, other Cave Story fans!

This is my first forums thread, and I hope to make many new friends

As the title states, I think that Cave Story's music was ripped off (or, possibly Cave Story ripped off this song

)

If you have ever played the game Cave Story, you will know what Toroko's theme sounds like ( and if you don't remember, I'm sure you could find it somewhere online) However, I would encourage you to listen to Toroko's theme, and then the song "Itsumo no fuukei" from "Suzumiya Haruhi" trust me, you will be suprised.

once again, I hope to make many new friends during my time here on the forums :orangebell:

I think Cave Story is quite capable of giving you mental issues. Just look at some of our fine members on the forum.

I listened to both, they have a similar start and they're both nostalgic. I need to fill my anime craze, would this be a good anime to watch?

1.)Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I need to fill my anime craze, would this be a good anime to watch?

I've been told it's a good one, but I personally did not like it.

Anyways they do have some similarities but they are quite different songs, so neither would be ripping the other one off. They would have to be much more similar (to the point of copying directly I think) for any copyright laws to be breached or whatnot.

No the notes are different and so are the melodies, those are the main key distinctions.

It's a pretty common melody. Mega Man's 3 Game Over song is also similar to Toroko's theme...Not really, but in a way it is!
