Being stuck with a Mac leaves me bored quite often, and most of my favorite freeware games are PC only. So, do any of you know of Mac-compatible freeware games? I've got Cave Story, Liquid War, MAME, NetHack, Tetris, Ragdoll Masters, Cube 2, a Gameboy emulator and an NES emulator. NES or Gameboy games would also be good suggestions, but I have Mega Man II & III, SMB 1 & 3, Metroid, Contra, LoZ and Pokemon (first 3 gens) already.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL THE GAMES I JUST LISTED. YOU CAN GET ALL OF THEM FOR PC AS WELL.*
This may look like enough to keep me entertained, but it's not. I'm bored of most of these games.

*Oh wait except Metroid. Get Super Metroid instead.

I can recommend some good NES games

NARC: You play two badass cops with machine guns and rocket launchers who fight the war on drugs in a very literal way. Bonus points for busting perps, and you'll need the extra lives to take on the hallucinogen-inspired final boss.

Legacy of the Wizard: I already made a whole thread about it, sheesh.

Zelda II, if you weren't bunching that up in with LoZ

Final Fantasy
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!
Dr. Mario
Astyanx: A garage-sale game I picked up, sort of a side-scrolling hack-n-slash.
Double Dragon II
Ninja Gaiden

In order of personal preference.

A nice quick freeware game is n, which runs on most computers I can think of; just don't obsess over the hard levels.

Does shareware count if it contains most of the game without restrictions?
Or abandonware?

If you think it might be entertaining and it doesn't cost money, post it.

Hmmm, I do believe Zelda Classic can be played on Macs, though I think you need one of the later builds. Not really sure though. I DO know you can play it on a Mac. I just dunno how, since I have a PC. |D
