Hello, hate. This is sorta out of the blue, but would it be okay if I added you as a friend? You seem like a generally good person, and I wouldn't mind having you as a friend even if I haven't interacted with you much.

Just checking in real quick, then I'm gonna disappear for a bit again... most likely anyway. Still working toward getting ACSC done; I haven't dropped the project by any means. 3D modeling is picking up and my stuff is starting to look good, finally! ^w^

Hey, that's good that you haven't given up! I was starting to wonder where you were.
I hope it all goes well.

Tomorrow, I've got science finals. I fell nervous 'cause science isn't my best subject.

Hello Skywelse. It certainly is nice to see the founder return. I'd just like to say thanks for founding this forum and hosting it for as long as you did, and taking the care to leave it in the good hands of Andwhy.

Anyone knows how to remove Win32 Sality virus from an .exe file? That shtick got into my exe's and I don't want to lose them.

Hmmm... scan an infected EXE with a virus scanner, and figure out the exact type of Sality virus. Then
I'd google that exact name and look for keywords like 'repair', and hopefully there's a way to salvage the particular exe's you want to save.
After that, I'd get a real anti-virus program, and completely clean your computer. You might need your original disk if you can't recover before the infection... It sounds like some versions alter the registry, and are quite a hasele. (I use AVG Free, but there are a lot of choices out there!)
PS: I have no experience with Sality infections, so this is general advice!
(You could try packing all the EXEs you want to save, and put them in a passworded zip file maybe, and upload them to something like a USB, or website. Passworded so it won't be opened. That way you'll have a copy if they originals are destroyed during attempted repairs.)

I don't know if you ever think about that org => ptcop converter application that you made a while back, but it just helped me IMMENSELY in converting an org into an mp3. It worked great! Thanks a bunch for writing the program!

You're welcome! I'm glad to hear it's getting some use, it was a fun little project but I don't think anybody other than me had much need of it :b

Oh... You saw that (the posts are deleted now).
Nyreal is my IRL friend... He was being impatient and stupid and posted a leak of the mod (which was outdated and buggy).
We worked it out on Skype... And he admitted that he made a mistake and that it wasn't quite ready for release...
It's all good now... And the first release is to be expected to be this week or early next week.

Oh, I see. I expected something like that. Good to hear it got resolved productively.
First release is so close! <3
