I want something here so I'm putting haydenstudios' rating system here:

Here's what my mod rating system is:
Rate it by all applicable categories: Storyline, Dialog, Level Design, Gameplay, Custom Graphics, Custom Music.
Each of these aspects if rated on a scale of one to ten.
1 = Abysmal
2 = Pathetic
3 = Poor
4 = Bad
5 = Mediocre
6 = Fair
7 = Good
8 = Great
9 = Excellent
10 = Amazing
Following the rating of each category, I make a brief description of it, if applicable. Not every category may be used based on how widely customized the game is. After rating each category, I point out every glitch I can find, and every improvement I think the modder can make. The first listed improvement is always "Fix all of the glitches mentioned above" as the first if there were any, and list any other improvements. Then, I take the average of the scores of the categories to make the overall score. One point is subtracted from the final score for every five glitches I find, and for every five improvments I have to suggest. The final score is followed a brief description of what I think about the mod overall. If the final score is less than one, then it's automatically rounded up to one.

Sunshinesan's Hayate no Gotoku! Dream Apocalypse revival project

Quite a while ago now, an RPG Maker VX game by the name of Hayate no Gotoku! Dream Apocalypse was released, and this post is actually what got me to play Cave Story, but after a while HNGDA was cancelled/dropped/who knows whated.

I would like to, during this summer, work with (hopefully) some of you and some other friends to complete it.

Please comment if you would like to help, this will be hosted on a public dropbox account, and I would like to get at least a FEW competent people working on it with me, this would of course also require you having RPG Maker VX, and at least SOME amount of time to work on it.

PS: I know that it's an encrypted game, I have an decrypter which I have used to decrypt and save the project, and again, please comment if you want to help.

Tale of the cave mod

I'm thinking of starting a cave story mod (yeah, another one, but don't worry, I'll still finish the CA, and get going on FL) based on Tale of the Cave, a cave story webcomic.
I would like this to be a community mod, so if you want to join, post a reply.
now, I know what you are all thinking, community mods don't work out well at all, so, to prevent it from failing epically, only well-known/trustworthy modders will be allowed, If you are new to modding, you can release a small demo of your skills and, if it is judged good enough, you will be allowed to join.
I will also need artists/composers/(maybe)ASM hackers, for anyone wanting to do any of those, if you aren't well-known, you will also have to submit a demo.
I think that covers about everything.

Mod in progress: Forgotten Life

I'm currently working on a mod called Forgotten life, It's based around the time quote was created, and, among other things, explains why quote can't talk.
I am not abandoning Curly's Adventure, just working on this as well.

PS. Hey, magicdoors, Can you re-upload SadRomance? I want to use it as the title music.
