I tried out the BBCode editor, and I can't get emotes to insert properly. It looks like the post window is getting deactivated as soon as I try to click one of them.

Try checking the error console (Tools > Web Developer > Error Console), click clear, reload the editor page, try to insert an emote and send me any error messages that pop up.
While I'm here, what version of Firefox is it?
Also what theme are you using?
Are you still able to use the BBCode buttons, and are you able to do so without selecting text first?
Might be best to do this via PM.

One of my friends is having trouble registering for an account. According to her, some Security Check thing doesn't appear, even 30 minutes after she waits. She also has tried refreshing the page twenty times, but still nothing happened. I asked DoubleThink, he said that I'd be better off asking you. Is there anything that can be done?
Failing that, mind screencapping the issue for me? My email is email@example.com .

I don't care whether or not you rename it, it's your call. Doesn't bother me much now that I know what it is.

I'm Shane's friend. I've also asked permission to represent him on these forums since he's struggling to access the forums. He wants to know why he's normally getting 410 errors when he tries to visit the forums.
What url is he getting the error on?
Tell Shane to go to command prompt and type in "tracert cavestory.org". Right-click on the icon for the command prompt window, then go to edit > select all and then edit > copy. Paste it into an email and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org
