I'll never understand how people can type paragraphs upon paragraphs about stuff from a video game.

Boredom.

Cave Story is a game about a robot. Do questions really need to be asked?

The world would be a boring place if we only asked the questions that needed asking.

I guess I was just trying to express my opinion in a kind way. But hey if you want the truth from me (no offensive Hayden) I wanted to say was that who really cares where the Colons sleep?

Most if not all the "theories" on this site are just plain stupid questions that are beyond uninteresting. "Who is Sue's father!?!?" "Is Booster Jenka's Husband!?!?" Hurr de hurr.

Not to mention... How can you give a logical answer to these questions, hell even an educated guess is pushing it especially to a theory when there is absolutely no information to base it on?

Oh god, now I'm the one typing paragraphs about shit I don't really care about.

Yes, some of them can be silly. Some have more thought put into them. But if you really love a game so much, wouldn't you wanna know every little detail about things that go unanswered? I would. Also, I don't think that "Who is Sue's father" is a useless topic, since it's one of the huge things in the games that are unexplained.

Some of it really is grasping at straws, but some of it is just discussing for the sake of discussing. That's what we're here for. Sharing our interest in a game we all joined the site for. If you have a problem with that, I suggest you stay away from the theory section and stop posting

only thing with that is that we don't actually learn anything we just get what people imagine, which CAN BE FUN TOO. It rarely is though. Sometimes it makes me rage somewhat but hey this forum is for people of all ages and I should respect that.

With the Who is Sue's father thread though... We never will know unless Pixel releases something regarding that topic. There are an infinite amount of things we will never know about Cave Story.

But yes you're 100% right about it all being for discussing purposes. We're all just trying to have a good time. Thanks for the advice!

I might do some more stuff in the theory section, I might not. But you helped me understand a few things so thanks again you'll see the change in my posts

They probably sleep away from the main house. After all, there are lots of secret passages in the Sand Zone, they likely head somewhere safe to sleep. Perhaps in the abandoned house you find one of the puppie in?
