Old topic!
Guest, the last post in this thread is over 60 days old. Posting in this thread will be considered a bump, so please make an attempt to be courteous if you go ahead with it.

If the last post is over 6 months old, it may instead be a better idea to start a new topic. If you aren't sure about what to do, feel free to ask a staff member for help, or try to locate a 'general questions'-type thread if it exists in this (sub-)forum.

Why did this go away? I liked that feature.
Is it possible to bring it back? I preferred when it when I didn't have to visit a profile to see whether or not I'd be able to see it on their profile.

Andwhy said it might be possible, but he's going to need a lot of motivation:

I know you said you were having trouble getting this to work, but it would still be nice if one's age would be displayed above the user's post.

It may be possible if I can insert php into the template and calculate it manually, but I shouldn't make the change while the forums are live, so it'd have to wait until the next time I upgrade the forums, whenever that might be.

I miss this too, but it will be a while before we get that back if ever. You're not alone if you're disappointed in the annoyances about this new forum that were never fixed.

I'd be really great at procrastinating if I ever got around to it.

I am so sick of people asking this, so I put up the ages at the cost of x number of CS Dark users that had to watch their theme explode in their face over the last hour. 'Grats. You all got your wish.

Now it is reminding me every time that I am 27. I'd be rather 17...or 7...
WOW I am a member since almost 3 years (2009). In another 3 years it'll say 30 :toroko2:
