I think Cave Story is quite capable of giving you mental issues. Just look at some of our fine members on the forum.

But is it actually necessary? I mean, aren't beta testers given the whole game to playtest?I'd love to participate but unfortunately I don't own Cave Story+...
Or seeing as this is just a few extra features you only get a patch and/or some additional/replacement files?
Or is it received through Steam even though it's not finalized yet?

I hope there are tens of thousands of ranking spots, or that each person only shows up once for their best score for each challenge... except perhaps if they are in the top 10? If there is a recording of the best times, it would be fun to be able to play them back and see how others blazed them... (was that one of the new features?)

To all them who are griping about not owning it: it was fleeping 8$ during the first week in steam. What is it now, 10? Holy moley, work 2 hours at any McDonalds and you can buy it. Think of entertainment as 5$ per 1 hour of product. If CS provides 2 hours of entertainment, it is (in marketing at least) worth 10$. Any time you spend extra on it is discount. If the game comes up short it's a rip.
