You have got to be kidding me.
Since the name Quote was considered a spoiler by some the name "Mr. Traveler" was supplanted on the website. Quote is still called Quote in-game, always has been, and always will.
Quote was called "Mr. Traveler" by Chaco in the original game. That's why the website uses it as a placeholder for Quote's name.
"Hello there! Goodness, that's a dangerous item you've got there. Are you a traveler?"
"Oh, it's Mr. Traveler. Did you come to rescue me?"

Who cares what Jack says about it? He is not just the #2 in the island, he the #2 in the room next to my kitchen that people normally lock when they go in. I say the island should have an original name, not based off it's inhabitants. That is like calling Sand Zone "Random Bone Thing Zone".

(I don't remember the island being named in the PC version, but the new translation?)
I would also like to imagine the island has a different name; but humans probably know it as Mimiga Island.
Sand Zone, Bushland, Core Base, Balcony... it isn't exactly your normal naming scheme.
When typing into the computer where to teleport, those zone names were input. But, is that their local name?
Welcome to Human Village. ...... really? I suppose it's the imaginary world created by Pixel, so anything's possible; but I like to imagine that the Mimigas once had their own unique naming system, before the humans came; whether it's true or not...
