I guess Crystal is my favourite because it's basically a slightly improved version of G/S (sprite animations woo yeah!). The remakes look really horrible though. What the fuck did they do to the Rocket Executives?

2nd gen > all. If you want to try one of the newer ones though, you may as well try Black or White because there's really no reason to play 3rd or 4th gen ahead of 5th gen (aside from maybe Platinum). At the other end, 1st gen feels really old even compared to 2nd gen, but they're still solid enough games.

You'll have put a new battery in the cartridge in order to save any GSC carts though.
Oh, piracy? Works I guess.

I have nothing to put here. Seriously. I guess I could put a blog post or something, but I have no blog. Is this indicative of some greater flaw in my productivity? In any case, I truly thank you for taking the time to read this message.

If you want to jump on the bandwagon GIR, I'd just recommend the newest ones, they're generally superior in most (if not all) ways to their predecessors. If you can't stand the thought of touching those gross 5th Gen pokemon, go with Heart Gold or Soul Silver, they're right up there.
I think people getting their hair in a bunch over 5th Gen is just silly. Of course the older pokemon were simpler in design than newer ones, the original 151 were created to run on an effin Gameboy Color, not a DS. If the Pokemon series were created on a console as advanced as the DS, do you think they would make such simple, basic pokemon when they were capable of so much more? Of course not. Each generation has a few really stupid, unoriginal pokemon, that's nothing new.

Diamond/Pearl/Platinum are my all time favorite out of the main game series.

Being the selfish bastard I am, I decided to make a thread. About pokeymanz.
Sooooo.... Yeah. Today I'm happier than mahin in a buffet. Why? Because I finallystole acquired a transfer pack for my nintendo 64. Meaning I can now use my pokemon from my pokemon blue game that has the same save file since 1996, which my brothers gave to me when i was four in 2001 on pokemon stadium. Right now I am watching with pure joy as my Level 100, now 3-D Squirtle pwns the living hell out of the pokemon stadium elite four.
Long story short: I need a life.
Now for what you all came for:

It's a decent little RPG series that i get a notion for once a blue moon. I have to admit, it's very satisfying watching a team that started off weak and defensless and making them into powerful fighters.

Someone brought up plots earlier. On that train of thought, I never agreed with any of the complains about Pokemon: The First Movie. It's a great, emotionally moving in my opinion. It's good that this thread reminded me to continue watching the sequel.
