Studio Ghibli does original work, as far as I've seen. It wouldn't fall into that category AT ALL.

You guys should think about it this way. If CS was an anime - that is, if it was an anime, and not a game - what would it be like? If it was designed to be an anime, I think it might have a chance.

Follow the adventures of a mysterious robot that wakes up in a cave!!! And he explores!!! Also he meets rabbit people, but we call them Mimigas.
I'd try it if someone recommended it to me, but it has a premise that makes sense mostly for a videogame.

Yeah, I guess you're right. That's why video games suck; we will never, ever have a (good) zelda, mario or final fantasy movie.
