I will justify this by saying that the thread is about "IDEAS" in the sense that we are trying to "DEVELOP" a standardized definitions of terms commonly used in the "HACKING/MODDING" field.

Well, just because you use the words "ideas" and "development" doesn't mean they fit in with that category. As stated by the rules, threads in this category are supposed to be for ideas for mods without a demo or not started yet. A MOD, not ideas of what a mod (or hack) is.
EDIT: oops, I sounded like a jerk. I assure you that was not my intention.
EDIT2: also, you talk about hacking/modding ideas. The category is not hacking/modding ideas, it is hack/mod ideas. Small, but big difference.

Hack = screwing with the engine, and making a completely different game with it. (Volley's cancelled hack thing is an example.)
Mod = Modifying the game into an altered state.

Since when is twenty days a long time? I'm pretty sure bumps are okay as long as they are not ridiculous and add some value, which yours did.
Ontopic, I stick by what I said earlier, that the classification system as it exists is stupid. While calling something slimmmmmmmmmp is probably not the best idea, I'm not sure what we have is eitehr.
