King in my mind is a pretty darn complex character, if you put all of his quotes into a single personality.
His main motive is to protect all of the mimigas that are left in the town, that's inherent right from the get-go.
It's strange, though, how he is so quick to seem to trust you, a humanoid-like person, over Sue... never really understood that.
